Jess and Annie

Jess is the Founder and CEO of Fancy Plants Plantmongers. They are a horticulturalist by trade but a healer at heart. Their expert houseplant and horticulture knowledge skills were honed at Mother Earth Gardens (Minneapolis, MN) and Marjorie McNelly Conservatory (St. Paul, MN). Jess designs and builds every aspect of Fancy Plants Plantmongers’ growing and propagating systems.

Fancy Plants Plantmongers is an online based house plant retailer.  The houseplants are propagated in our home nursery in Northeast Minneapolis, MN.  Curated by horticulturalist Jess our plants are affordable and approachable for customers of any skill level.  We believe there is a plant for everyone, no matter the circumstance.  We have hundreds of varieties available, from easy to care for spider plants to exotic variegated monsteras.

During the growing season, we have two greenhouses stocked with plants propagating and growing.  In the off season, we have a fully functional grow system with grow lights and heating elements for indoor propagation.  All systems are designed and cared for by us.

Fancy Plants Plantmongers grows live house plants and succulents for customers with any horticulture skill level.  Plants are a wonderful way to not only fill a space, but they create a dramatic atmosphere.  They add interest, creativity, and even benefit mental and physical health. Our house plants create an indoor oasis and give customers the satisfaction of caring for a live plant.

Fancy Plants are exclusively sold at both Mother Earth Gardens locations. We also can do local pick ups by appointment and delivery within a thirty mile radius of Minneapolis, MN.
